Etobicoke Pre & Post Natal Program

The program is designed to encourage healthy child development through nutrition and social support. Program participants enjoy a variety of healthy snacks, and supplementary food is available to take home. The programs are a place where women can relax and chat informally with public health nurses, dieticians, social workers, volunteers, and other participants. Information and advice on nutrition, health, and other concerns are provided through one-on-one counselling, group discussions, and sharing ideas with one another. Program participants who may benefit from other services in the community are referred as well.
