Volunteer and Placement
How to Volunteer
The Pathways to Education Program requires skilled and committed volunteers to serve as tutors and mentors. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative program that makes a positive difference in the lives of youth and their families. Both one-on-one and group tutoring positions are available, and training is provided. Recruitment is ongoing. Join the dedicated team of Pathways volunteers and you will see how your time and contribution will make a difference with the youth the program serves. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor or group mentor with Pathways Rexdale, please contact Suad Aden, Volunteer Administrator at suad.aden@rexdalechc.com or call 416-743-5552 ext. 2281. Placement Opportunities
Pathways hosts various placement students from post-secondary schools every year to help support the various teams. Placement students are vital to our work and you can earn great hands-on experience. Interviews are held for placement opportunities twice in September and then again in January. In the past, Pathways has had placement students from numerous post-secondary institutions whose partnerships continue today.
If you are interested in applying to complete your placement at Pathways, contact Sunita Kak at sunita.kak@rexdalechc.com or Angela Brown-Knight at angela.brown@rexdalechc.com.
